Born in South West France in 1984, Bastien Daguzan grew up between the village of Marciac and Toulouse.
After studying law school in la Sorbonne in Paris, he studied in 2008 at the Institut Français de la Mode in Paris, an internationally recognized school of fashion (classified by BOF as the best fashion school in the world) where he specialized in design & luxury. Since 2017, Daguzan has been President of the IFM Alumni Association with the aim of developing networking in the industry.
Under the age of 30, he became the CEO of Lemaire brand where he worked closely with the duo Christophe Lemaire and Sarah Linh Tran. During the first 5 years, he initiated the Fast Retailing strategic partnership with Uniqlo. From the “U line” collaboration to a minority stake in the Japanese group at Lemaire, he succeeded in increasing the turnover by 5.
From 2017 to 2022, as Chief Executive of Paco Rabanne working alongside with Julien Dossena (Artistic Director for the brand since 2013), Daguzan has generated a triple digit growth and increased the number of POS wholesale by 4. In less than 2 years, he repositioned the brand in the fashion landscape and brought a “direct to consumer” transformation (50% of the business generated online).In 2019, the fashion division also actively participated to the launch of the first Pacollection range of perfumes as a result of a reinforced collaboration between fashion and fragrance, repositioning innovation and creativity at the heart of the “global brand” project.
Bastien is now Chief Executive Officer of JACQUEMUS after being strategic consultant in the company for 3 years. He also has a fashion & lifestyle advisory company for selected fashion brands.
